Producers Strategies.

Major Record Label
Island Def Jam records

Island Def Jam records, is a major Record label with artists such as Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Jay-z and Rihanna signed to it. The company is owned by famous record producer Rick Ruben, they are known for signing artists that connect to a mainstream audience. The company was orginally an independent label, until Universal Music Group invested money into it, making it one of the most sucessful labels about in the music industry.

Small Independent Record Label
BBK-Boy Better Know
'Too Many Men'
The niche audience for this group are both genders, but most likely boys aged 16-25. The group is made up of a number of artists, such as Skepta, JME, Shorty, Wiley and many more. The music they produce is classed as Rap/Grime, although they have a number of songs as a group. Each arttist is also classed as a solo artist, for example Skepta has a number of hit singles such as, Rescue me and Amnesia.
The 'Too many men' video was created at low budget, you can tell this as the video is mostly shots of the group rapping, again almost as if they are playing live, without an audience. The location of the video, looks as if it has been filmed in a warehouse, as well as the basic Boy Better Know group, artist Chipmunk is also featured in this video.
